Another year of concerts, of doing everything possible to arrive early and convince your friend journalist that you have to go there to take place. The fact of seeing part of a concert through a viewfinder and no hands occupied with a glass of beer makes it undoubtedly different.
Most of these photos have been taken in Vic Live Music Market 2015 for the magazine Mondosonoro. The MMVV is a welcoming and well maintained festival, with concerts in format of 45 minutes spread throughout the city. This makes difficult to distribute your time but allows you to discover a lot of groups. The name says it all: music market is not like any other festival.
It was during the MMVV that the other side of the tandem journalist-photographer asked me how I used to edit the huge amount of photos I normally take on concerts (and in fact, it’s something to improve). I answered him that, sometimes, even if I have a lot of photos, I know which will be the picture chosen or published because at that moment of take it, I felt it. Is difficult to explain, but it’s the feeling of “I have it.” However, it doesn’t happen always (in fact, very few times happens), but it is important to be alert to try it.
