Days and nights at the delta

A river that sometimes is dry and sometimes runs very high. A beach where tobacco and silk where smuggled during the dark post-Spanish Civil War years. An abandoned 17th century mill. A level crossing, now disappeared, where lots of traffic accidents happened. The tracks where a disturbed young man derailed several trains before killing his father with a crossbow. Welcome to the Tordera river delta. Photographs taken between 2007 and 2009.
